The Kruger family has been in business in Texas since 1906.  I’m David Kruger, the third generation, and my daughter, Rachel, is fourth.  We have been in our current location on Congress and 8th Street in downtown Austin since my father, Aaron, opened in 1939. 

Kruger’s is fortunate to have the best people of any retail store in Austin.  We have folks here who have been with us for over 30 years.  The benefit to you of this is that I don't have to be in the store for you to receive the fantastic service and great attitude that sets us apart from other stores - and I don't mean just other jewelers.  For us it is all about the customer, not just making a sale.

My jeweler, Sam, has been with me for about 18 years.  He is detail oriented and is a superb craftsman.  We’re also lucky to have Wyatt, an apprentice - a very quick study and a super young man.

We recently added a laser welder to our workshop that has dramatically expanded our capabilities in repairing and rebuilding very intricate pieces in all metals.

Our main business is bridal and loose diamonds in addition to unique fashion items from vendors that do not service other jewelers in this area, making these pieces especially distinctive.

Having been in business for so long, we’re able to source almost anything jewelry related.  We also have several vendors that do custom work for us.  Some custom orders can be turned around in as little as 10 days.  We invite you to come experience our attitude and energy-I think you will find my store a different kind of shopping experience – plus, you’ll get to meet Mariposa, our store cat.
